Galvanizing line upgrade
The project boosted the productivity of HDGL-1 by 30% to 500,000 tonnes per year. and increased Lipetsk site value added manufacturing capacity to produce HDG steel for the construction, automotive, and ‘white goods’ sectors, as well as for further use in the production of pre-painted steel, by 11% to 1.25 million tonnes. Since the launch of the upgraded facility, the savings from the reduction in natural gas and electricity consumption amounted to more than RUB 43 million.
